2018/19 Loanee Edges Closer To QPR Return But On A Permanent Deal

|

34-year-old United States international and versatile Stoke City player, Geoff Cameron, enjoyed a reasonable spell at Queens Park Rangers during the 2018/19 campaign.

Making 19 appearances in total for the club in the Championship, it’s no great surprise that when we lost him to injury that was when the wheels fell off what many hoped would turn into an unexpected year and reports in the United States suggest that he’s now closing in on a return to Loftus Road to tick another experience box.

It was always assumed we might be in for him on a permanent deal as his time at Stoke City is clearly at an end and although the deal isn’t yet agreed, it’s believed that they will let him leave as a free agent, and then we will be free to pick him up.

Cameron hasn’t travelled with Nathan Jones’ side when they headed to the Netherlands but the report does state that there is interest from the MLS in him – but this is one to watch.
